First Draft of Porcelain Monkeys. I love and hate it. I'm really excited about the premise and the characters, but there are tons of plot issues that won't be ironed out until draft two. The challenge now is to work through the mess until it starts to resemble a novel. I based the working title on one of my favorite songs from the God of Great Lyrics, Warren Zevon.

Percy Jackson and Greek Mythology Mania. Speaking of Gods, does anyone else think that there is an impending trend of YA novels based on Greek mythology? Do any of the agents think so that are reviewing my last novel submission, based on The Odyssey? I can only hope. If Barnes & Noble is any indicator, with its tables of books on Greek mythology surrounding the Riordan display, Zeus could be the next Edward Cullen.
